In a safe, protected space, Josephine will lead you through a practice with added attention to the breath, alignment and inner voice.

Yoga & sound courses are very much a journey, and Josephine can guarantee she will guide you along the way, back to your wisdom, your internal compass of truth and deep rest.

YOGA AND SOUND | NEXT COURSE | SUMMER HOLIDAYS  | Open For Registration

All courses feature Hatha yoga, Flow and Yin. Each week we will look at a theme, it will be woven through meditation, pranayama, asana and shavasana-soundbath. A class that isn't set for beginners but is essentially an accessible practice, some weeks we will find ourselves strong and steady, others will be fluid and flow, and some weeks we will lean into more stillness and rest. This course is a small bespoke practice at Slakes' beautiful Chalk House in the centre of Worthing. Smaller classes to create a more personal and supportive practice.

My honest opinion is that I have never been to better classes than hers... Her sessions are so comforting and have most definitely toned my body as well. You leave the class feeling better each time. And the sound baths are out of this world!

Aromatherapy, Nidra, Shavasana, Soundbath(featuring bowls, chimes, gong depending on the week)

WHAT YOU NEED

You will need to bring a yoga mat(not pilates/thick squishy mats aren't safe for yoga)

Blanket

Eye-mask(optional)

At least 2 yoga bricks

HOW TO GET HERE

Slake, Chalk House has onsite parking at the venue, drive pass the venue and pull into the lot on the left hand side. 

It is near the town centre so bus stops are very close and the Worthing train station is about 15 minutes away.

The yoga was just what I needed - strong, stretchy and smiley. Josephine just seems to know all the good movements to get into those creaky parts of the body and her classes move at an accessible pace for all abilities.
