Josephine teaches from a place of compassion, care, and attention. She believes Yoga is a valuable tool, using the wisdom of the East to calm the maddening nature of the West. It is a brilliant way to access better health, and well-being, and encourages a more mindful way of life.

In a safe, protected space, she will guide you through the practice with added attention to the breath, alignment and inner voice. Yoga classes in Worthing are very much a journey and Josephine can guarantee she will guide you along the way.

NEW YOGA AND SOUND | WINTER TO SPRING COURSE
​
This class will feature, Hatha yoga, Flow and Yin. Each week we will look at a theme, it will be woven through meditation, pranayama, asana and shavasana-soundbath. A class that isn't set for beginners but is essentially an accessible practice, some weeks we will find ourselves strong and steady, others will be fluid and flow, and some weeks we will lean into more stillness and rest. This course is a small bespoke practice, at Slakes beautiful Chalk House in the centre of Worthing. Smaller classes to create a more personal and supported practice.

WHAT YOU NEED
You will need to bring a yoga mat(not pilates/thick squishy mats aren't safe for yoga)
Blanket
Eye-mask(optional)
At least 2 yoga bricks

HOW TO GET HERE
Slake, Chalk House is a 2-minute walk from Waitrose in Worthing, where you can park for free for 1.5 hours.
Alternatively, there is street parking and Morrisons Close by.
It is near the town centre so bus stops are very close and the Worthing train station is about 15 minutes away.

Josephine is one of the best yoga teachers, Josephine’s classes are special because she is a real teacher (as opposed an instructor). Not only is she notably clear in the physical details she outlines and demonstrates (in ways that speak to people’s different levels of yoga experience) but she also draws attention to yoga’s inner awareness, opening up something of yoga’s deeper, spiritual sensitivities. This is special.
